Brexit. The UK is no longer a member of the EU, which means that possible extra custom charges and VAT, will become due and payable in your own EU country. Unfortunately, this is an extra charge on top of what you have already paid Jarvis Books, and if you do not pay the customs fee, the parcel might not be delivered. The rate of VAT etc., varies between EU countries, so at present, we are unable to advise on the amount. If you are not happy with the additional charges do not order, but please contact us first, to see if we can help. Incidentally, leaving the EU was not our personal choice

within 14 days if you are not happy with them, for a full refund; but must be returned in the same condition they were sent. If the book was ‘not as described’, a full refund will also include your return postage.

All personal details you supply to us are kept private and is not shared or disclosed to any third party.
We store on database a mailing list of names and addresses of customers receiving our ‘paper’catalogues. We also store on another database email addresses of customers, used to notify when the latest catalogue can be viewed in a PDF file format, or for any queries.
We also keep a card index record (name, address and occasionally telephone number) of postal customers receiving our ‘paper’ catalogues. This assists us when answering the telephone. These details are stored only if acceptable by you. At any time, you can ask us to remove your details from either/or both databases and card index, and your request will be dealt with promptly.
